Zergo helps and does work for Thailand NBTC certification and TISI certification for compulsory products, which means we help to confirm the product falls within the mandatory scope, carry out related tasks and solve issues. The end goal is to get your products certified in a cost-effective manner, with a reliable approach, better methods and in the shortest possible time.
Yes, Zergo is a certification agency.
The industries Zergo has served include RF technologies, telecommunications, broadcasting devices, electrical and electronic products, ceramic tiles, glasses and safety glasses, toys, ceramic sanitary wares, shower units, faucets, helmets, vehicles, rubbers, and tires.
Zergo only helps with imported products, so foreign manufacturers and overseas factories are its clients.
Zergo is interested in helping companies in all domains and sizes. If you’re looking to get started with type approval or to do more with your product certification in Thailand, you’re probably a good fit.
Zergo’s approval team of experts work with you to achieve your certification goal. They perform a series of steps in the approval process such as submission, application preparation, overseas factory inspection, product testing, clearing doubts, solving problems and more. Zergo handles the entire process using skilled workmanship, offering you the best route to type approval. Zergo assists your organization to gain certification in a hassle-free manner.
It depends.
It depends on what you are looking for.
In case you have no idea what you should be looking for yet, here’s what we’ve got covered:
- Skilled professionals – Expert assistance from skilled professionals greatly helps in making on-time necessary tweaks and is hugely beneficial in successfully achieving a Thailand certification.
- Considerable efforts – The approval process takes a considerable effort at the end of the day. Zergo takes the work out of dealing with others, so you have the time to accomplish more.
- Accurate advice – A helping hand with accurate advice for certifications not only eases your quest for approval, but also ensures that your product meets the specific industrial standard.
- Guidance and direction – Zergo is managed by professional experts who are highly specialized in providing guidance and direction at each step of certification.
- Efficient process – Zergo’s efficient process for Thailand certification does not disappoint business expectations. It helps you to achieve certification rapidly and seamlessly.
- Reliable approach – By associating with Zergo, you gain a reliable approach to meet all standard requirements in the best possible manner.
- Professional assistance – The significance of professional assistance becomes highly imperative to foreseeing that everything will be done accurately and precisely.
- Handling by the right people – When your projects are being handled by the right people, you get a dedicated team of experts who understand your business niche and product portfolio, and who will undertake the best approach to get you ahead in the game.
- Brand trust – Zergo’s expertise in Thailand approval is trusted by numerous national and multinational organizations that seek to enter the Thailand market arena, making it your ideal partner for Thailand certifications.
And many more.
Good question.
Zergo doesn’t take every project that comes its way because it believes in delivering value. It handles a limited number of projects at a time, so Zergo’s in-house specialists are available to reach out and offer you support for doubt assisting or issues during the approval process.
The project lead time usually depends on the speed of your feedback and response, and the number of requests the liable organization for your required certification is currently processing. Zergo can’t promise a completion date for any project.
If you are in a rush and need a project completed more quickly, you would be charged an additional 50% on the total for the special rush rates.
Another interesting question.
Looking at a scenario where you might have to pay between USD800 and USD1,100 per month for a member of staff who might not have experience in doing this, it would take much more time than Zergo’s team of experts would take. Let’s say normally it takes 3 months but you could take 6 to 8 months, so that would cost anywhere from USD4,800 to USD8,800 until the task is complete, or even longer at even more cost. And that’s not including traveling expenses back and forth between your location and the related organizations associated with your chosen certification. You do that math.
Want to know how else it costs you in terms of time?
Time is money. The approval process is not the most enjoyable task. It’s tedious and time-consuming work. You could easily spend 500 hours or more preparing your application, product, factory, and related paperwork. This is the time you should probably be spending building your team, product, distribution channels and customer base. Not to mention our expertise in preparing the deliverables, information, materials and paperwork required to kick off the project accurately. By associating with Zergo, it is going to save you a lot of time and everything we do ensures swift progress in a cost-effective manner. As a business, you can keep a step ahead by outsourcing Thailand approval to Zergo in order to help you to deal with this not-so-pleasant task. You can easily meet regulatory compliance, get your product certified and achieve the certification you need within the limited time frame.
You are looking for Thailand certification. You are pretty determined to get your product certified but the Zergo team of experts doesn’t know whether you will maintain that kind of determination until the end. You know that Zergo can’t guarantee that you’re going to commit to the entire certification process. There is no guarantee out.
What Zergo can guarantee is that if you don’t go through this, this may have been that one chance that the agency that you’ve been looking for was going to help your business get to the next level – possibly helping you to expand your business all over Thailand faster than if you were to try to work this out on your own.
Zergo also can’t and doesn’t make any guarantees about your product quality to get results or achieve certifications. Zergo’s team of experts is here to help by using the best approach to move you forward in Thailand approval at a faster rate, and they will do their best to help you prepare. Zergo has no control over how well your product or factory meets Thailand’s standards and requirements. Zergo can assist, advise and mentor. However, at the end of the day, it’s your product and you must meet the certification standard.
Zergo will use email correspondence as reference. All matters relating to your project will be tracked and kept in order.
Zergo’s approval team usually responds via email within 48 hours. They will be communicating with you during the process and they will need your feedback and approval to continue the work.
Zergo relies heavily on e-mail and phone. If desired, Zergo’s team of experts could find a way to visit you at your office.
Zergo protects your data and information as if it were its own and takes security seriously. And yes, Zergo can sign an NDA.
Your initial payment is non-refundable. This is because, by the time you have decided to hire Zergo, Zergo’s approval team has set aside time to work with you, and they may even have turned away other opportunities in order to provide you with the best possible support. Subsequent payments may be refunded at Zergo’s sole discretion.
Zergo remains available for one month, at no extra charge, to answer follow-up questions.
Absolutely. Zergo helps to support you through the certification process and makes it simple and straightforward for you. This is exactly how Zergo’s expertise acts as a bridge to product type approval.
Glad to hear it. Contact us to get started now. We look forward to hearing from you.
A local representative acts like certificate holder. You need a local Thai company in order to apply for Thailand certifications.
Zergo cannot authorize any importer for the product importation.
If you request Zergo’s local representative, the certificate will be issued in Zergo’s name, held and owned by Zergo. Zergo’s local representative does not respond to the necessary goods declaration, clearances, licenses or any other requirements in order to release goods from customs custody prior to importation, or the submission of requirements after arrival of the goods.

NBTC divides telecommunication equipment that must be inspected and certified into three categories: SDoC, Class A and Class B.
It starts at USD400 per product based on a relevant standard, in which we include:
– Guidance on documents required
– Filling out application forms
– Document and test report checks
– Local representative service
– Submitting projects to regulatory agencies
– Certificate fee
– Labeling and marking assistance
– Weekly project status updates
– Notification of certificate renewal
Product scope covered by the Class C registration would be the same scope as SDoC equipment. What we are saying is that if this product falls into the SDoC scope, then you can apply for SDoC or Class C approval with the NBTC.
Some of our clients request only Class C instead of SDoC, so whenever they share the Class C registration to other importers in Thailand, the registered product could help them to avoid trouble while passing Thailand’s custom clearance.
Note that the Class C certification is not mandatory, is more expensive and involves a longer process than SDoC.
No, product testing is not required. You can provide CE, FCC and CB test reports for submission.
No, you don’t.
Yes, a local representative is required.
You will have to provide the following info about your local representative;
- Name of authorized person and title of position
- Company name and address of the local representative
- Name and email address of a contact person
Yes, Zergo can be the local representative for your application.
It could be valid as long as NBTC doesn’t update or change any relevant standard to your product.
Per the NBTC, Class A and Class C approval are registration, and Class B is the certification. In order to process these three classes, you will also need an NBTC seller license.
A qualified applicant for an NBTC seller license needs to have the following qualifications:
- Being a juristic person registered under Thai law
- In the case of a juristic person registered under foreign laws or located abroad, the application shall be made by a representative who is an individual or a juristic person of Thai nationality.
Note that the NBTC seller license needs to be renewed every year and you have to renew it before it expires.
Yes, we could.
If your local representative has never had the supplier code before, then they could receive it from NBTC after your product is registered or certified.
They are as follows:
- Technical (wireless) specification
- Picture of product
- Test reports
- User manual
Yes, you can use RF test reports of the module to get NBTC approval for your end product, but the manufacturer will have to write a declaration letter regarding this.
Our costs for NBTC approval are inclusive of the certificate fees but do not include a product testing fee, because there is no need to send your product to get tested in Thailand in order to apply for NBTC certifications.
Check out this page, it will help.
The QR code label is required for every product which is SDoC, Class A, Class B, and Class C.
It affects both certified equipment and new products.
It should be provided in the operating manual at the side of the package, or by putting additional documents inside the packages with the statements and product documentation as specified and attached to the notification.
The QR code can be copied from the NBTC notification.
The size specified on the announcement is 5×5 cm. However, it is allowed to be reduced or expanded but you need to make sure that the label is clear and that the QR code is able to be scanned.
It is permitted to provide it on those documents, but not on your website.
The link is as follows:
https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1jdLp7RvP3LfINPTeVTlmVbJkk1XfGrav
The label is allowed to be in black & white.
You can attach the label in Thai or English, or both.
There is a compliance sentence for SDoC but it is not mandatory, and you can put it on your label.
Yes, it can be put on the IM/packaging.

The product certification schemes of TISI consist of 2 types which are the voluntary certification mark and the mandatory certification mark.
We provide assistance for products that apply to the mandatory certification mark only.
TISI product approval costs begin at USD4,000 per certificate, depending on the relevant standard and the number of samples of the desired product. Here’s what’s included:
– Guidance on documents required
– Filling out application forms
– Listing your products according to TIS standard
– Confirmation of sample items by TISI
– Submitting projects to regulatory agencies
– Factory inspection fee (excluding travel expenses)
– Local representative service
– Certificate fee
– Labeling and marking assistance
– Weekly project status updates
– Certificate in English (optional)
Unfortunately, they can’t. TISI doesn’t allow any foreign factories to carry the TISI voluntary certification mark.
It depends if the standard that you are looking for is available on our side, but you can contact us and find out.
Yes, you will have to send your product to get tested in Thailand, but only some product models will be selected as representative samples.
We will help you to check a representative sample according to the relevant TIS standard, confirm with the TISI and then advise you about it in order to make sure that your representative samples cover all of your product models that you would like to get certified.
The sample requirement is dependent on the relevant TIS standard, and you will need to send the sample to your local representative.
Yes, we also provide our local representative for TISI certification.
Yes, you do.
The sample testing fee is dependent on related standards and the number of your representative sample.
Your sample still requires a full test under the TIS standard, so the testing cost can’t be deducted or reduced.
A sample declaration letter from the TISI is needed to ship your sample to Thailand.
Yes, we will help you to make a request and prepare any essential documents to get the sample declaration letter as well.
The test report will be in the Thai language and the lab will send it to the TISI directly. So, you will not get a copy of the test report.
Your product sample will be arranged to get tested at TISI accredited laboratories.
Yes, we will search for an accredited lab which is relevant to the standard of your certification and help to send your sample to get tested.
Yes, you also need to have a factory audit in order to apply for TISI certification.
Of course – we will find an authorized auditor that matches with your product standard and bring them to audit your factory.
No, you can’t. Factory inspection is still required.
Usually, there would be one auditor and one of Zergo’s team of experts visiting the factory. So, there would be two people.
It depends on the requirements of the relevant standard, but we normally need one day.
Three years from the inspection date, and no, you will not get a copy of the factory inspection report.
That’s right.
Around one month prior to going to audit your factory we will send you a list of the required documents for the factory inspection, so you will be ready by then.
Yes, your TISI certificate is valid as long as TISI doesn’t change or update the relevant standard on the certificate.
You will need to gain new type approvals for your products.
The typical lead time to completion is 2-4 months. The actual time can be influenced by the speed of your feedback needed to continue the work, the level of your local representative’s participation and the complexity of your product, and TISI’s and our current workload.
Yes, it could. We usually handle multiple projects at any point in time, and rush projects could pressure our schedules or inconvenience other clients. If you are in a rush and need your project completed faster, you can ask for a rush job project and you would be charged an additional 50% on the total.
Yes, there is market surveillance.
No, you can’t. Just one importer and one factory can be listed on a single TISI certificate.
Yes, you can list more than one exporter on the TISI certificate.
