How to Make A Drawing, Sampling, and Mark the Faucets
By the team at Zergo November 6, 2021
In concert with standard number: TIS 2067-2552, Faucets for Sanitary Wares: Environment requirements: Water-savings, the application must be accompanied by the drawings of all Codes, and in the drawings, at least the following details are required:
1. model name and code name of the faucet
2. model name and code name of the material used for the opening/closing valve and the opening/closing manner; such as turn left 90 degrees, turn left 180 degrees, turn right 90 degrees, turn right 180 degrees, up and down, Cartridge, 360 degrees rotation, 720 degrees rotation, or press e.g.
3. Controller of the volume of water; such as aerator, casting part, or rubber ring.
Notes:
1) Model refers to a faucet with the same faucet body material, valve, and controller of the volume of water as designed.
2) Code refers to a faucet with the same model and the same shape of the body, spout, water supply tube, pipe or handle as designed.
3) Valve model refers to the same opening/closing valve and opening/closing manner.
4) Valve code refers to the same valve model at the same dimension or shape as designed.
5) Controller of the volume of water model refers to the same water volume control device at the same water volume control method as designed.
6) Controller of the volume of water code refers to the same controller of the volume of water model at the same dimension or shape as designed.
Sample collection for compliance with the standard requirements
While there are two required tests, sampling by applying in the case of groups will select the sample as follows:
1. Test methods of effect to water quality: required the sample 2 sets per product name and material used. Each sample can be collected from several models and unique codes with the same faucet body/housing including components such as spout, water supply tube, pipe. And it must contain a total volume of water of at least 100 ml.
2. Test of dimension, pressure tolerance, volume or capacity, and durability: required the sample 1 set per product name and model. Sample 1 set consists of 2 faucet units.
Remarks:
1) The test result of effect to the water quality of the faucet, with different models, but with the same product name and the same controller of the volume of water model, will be referred to all models that are sampled at the same time.
2) The test result of durability of the faucet, with different models, but with the same product name and the same valve model, will be referred to all models that are sampled at the same time.
3) In case of applying both vertical/ deck-mounted type and horizontal/ wall-mounted installation type, the horizontal/ wall-mounted installation type will be selected for the test of dimension and thread dimension.
4) In case the model and code of the faucet differ, but the water supply tube or pipe equipment is the same. One set of equipment can be used to represent all sample sets at one time.
Except for the test methods of effect to water quality.
Label requirement with respect to the TIS 2067-2552
Check it out below:
1. All units of the faucet must have at least the following numbers, alphabets or markers to be easily visible, clear, fixed or permanent: the name of the manufacturer or factory, or registered trademarks
2. All units of the faucet must have at least the following numbers, alphabets or markers to be easily visible and clear.
1) The product name conforms to this standard
2) Installation type, faucet body position type, and type. Model and code
3) Year and month of manufacture. Or the Code of made
4) The name of the manufacturer or factory. Or registered trademarks
