The product certification schemes of TISI consist of 2 types which are the voluntary certification mark and the mandatory certification mark.

Unfortunately, they can’t. TISI doesn’t allow any foreign factories to carry the TISI voluntary certification mark.

Yes, you will have to send your product to get tested in Thailand, but only some product models will be selected as representative samples.

The test report will be in the Thai language and the lab will send it to the TISI directly. So, you will not get a copy of the test report.

Yes, you also need to have a factory audit in order to apply for TISI certification.

No, you can’t. Factory inspection is still required.
Usually, there would be one auditor and one of Zergo’s team of experts visiting the factory. So, there would be two people.
It depends on the requirements of the relevant standard, but we normally need one day.
Three years from the inspection date, and no, you will not get a copy of the factory inspection report.

Around one month prior to going to audit your factory we will send you a list of the required documents for the factory inspection, so you will be ready by then.
Yes, your TISI certificate is valid as long as TISI doesn’t change or update the relevant standard on the certificate.

The typical lead time to completion is 2-4 months. The actual time can be influenced by the speed of your feedback needed to continue the work, the level of your local representative’s participation and the complexity of your product, and TISI’s and our current workload.
Yes, it could. We usually handle multiple projects at any point in time, and rush projects could pressure our schedules or inconvenience other clients. If you are in a rush and need your project completed faster, you can ask for a rush job project and you would be charged an additional 50% on the total.
Yes, there is market surveillance.
No, you can’t. Just one importer and one factory can be listed on a single TISI certificate.
Yes, you can list more than one exporter on the TISI certificate.
